This is a great long term campground, we spent almost 4 months here. We ended up leaving towards the end of the fall leaves and it was amazing seeing them all around. They have a great place to launch a kayak or canoe to get right into the south fork of the Shenandoah River. During our stay it was pretty easy to paddle upstream and float back down to the launch.
