I know this location is new, I understand they are still trying to get things in order and how stuff happens in the shop. I thank them for being able to let me drop our rig off before they were ready for it in the shop. I also thank them for holding it while I arranged to get back to them to pick it up. I know this review of them is going to sound like I am bashing them. I am not, I’m just giving an honest review of our dealings with them.

Our camper had a lot of stuff from the factory that needed some special attention after our selling dealer did not complete the issues we had. I talked about that in a previous post but just be careful if you are looking to buy from General RV.

For the most part everything we took it in for was addressed. Some of it was fixed, some the factory refused, others they could not duplicate. Our biggest issues were fixed that we took it in for and Alliance RV has been great for any issues that we have had pop up.

Now some of the issues. If you take your car to a dealership for work they put protective paper or plastic on just about everything a tech would touch. Most dealerships even run it through a quick car wash / vacuum. If you hire someone to come to your house and repair a leak or fix a wall most of the time they will clean it up. Maybe not a full on deep clean but pass a shop vac across it or wipe up spills and such.

First was the mess in the main bathroom. I think the tech that did this also did oil changes. That white warning sticker on the shelf to the right says to not use bleach. Well bleach was the only thing I could use to get this cleaned up. I scrubbed it with everything I had. I ended up getting some foaming bathroom cleaner with bleach and had to let it sit for a bit then scrub.

What’s missing in the picture above is the mess that was found in the ½ bath. Sawdust everywhere. Both bathrooms had the sawdust like shown below all over the floor, toilet, sink, counter.

Unfortunately it was cold and wet when I picked the rig up and did not do a full walk through before I left. Yes that’s a lesson learned, don’t repeat my mistake if you send a camper to anyone for work.

I did reach out to them within a couple days of getting it home and setup to double check everything. This was the 28th of Jan and to this day I have not received anything from them but crickets. No hey sorry we will talk with out techs and have the pass the shop vac or they will put something in the floor of the shower before working in it.

So question comes down to would I take it to them again. If they would have us, yes I would use them again. I would make sure that I do a full walkthrough before I leave with the camper.
